One Pipe ''Mills'' System

One Pipe Steam ''Mills'' System

The one pipe Mills system is used on very large one pipe steam systems. The idea here is to keep the steam and the condensate running in the same direction pretty much at all times. The only time it isn't is the actual runout pipe to a single radiator. This system is the most expensive way to install one pipe steam but pretty much is guarenteed to function very well. The term Mills comes from the name of the inventor of this technique.
