Euclid Hts. Blvd. Master Bathroom Plumbing

The master bathroom floor layout was to be modified on this job, and the drainage piping material specified was cast iron pipe. This was done in order to minimize the sound of the ''flush'' going through the pipes since the drainage stack goes down through the dining room wall. Cast iron pipe is actually marketed as ''the quiet pipe'' by Charlotte Pipe and Foundry. We replaced the drainage from the basement up through the dining room wall, and through out the master bathroom. The blue devices around the water pipes are acoustic insulators that greatly reduce the transmission of water piping noise to the buildings structure. The water pipe rough in for the lavatories appears to be situated ''weird'', but its done here for a reason, that being the pipes have to pass behind drawers to get into the main compartment under the sinks. So we ''tucked'' the piping all in the rear. The shower valve also appears to have an unusal rough in. It is unusual! But thats because we are installing a Lefroy Brooks faucet from England.
